Marco Ranzato and Maguelone Vignes participated to the AISRe conference "Le regioni d’Europa tra identità locali, nuove comunità e disparità territoriali" held in Bozen between the 17th and the 19th of September. Their contribution discussed the agenda and results of Across material and human flows, a workshop organized by Metrolab that involved the promoters of the two projects listed above and a number of associations based in Cureghem whole differently interlinked with the activities and scopes attached to the two new facilities. The workshop shows that the two new facilities could straighten the existing associative network, enlarge the job opportunities for the local population and hence to a certain extent respond to the metabolic goal pursued by the Brussels Capital Region.
