Marco Ranzato participate to the IPHEL 2 "New modes of learning and teaching: learning inclusion in action".

This 5-day intensive program brings together researchers and practitioners from all DESINC partner institutions, relevant guest speakers from academia, urban practice and CSOs, as well as other engaged students and educators. Participants will join forces to explore the interface between the reception and inclusion of refugees and international migrants in local urban areas, and the teaching of architecture, urban design, and urban planning. The aim of this week is to collectively develop pedagogical approaches and principles to make questions of migration and asylum more integral to the teaching of urban design and planning.

The 20th of June, Marco Ranzato will present a communication about the working process with the ERDF's project "Médecins du Monde" in the framework of Metrolab: the co-design of the architecture, the pedagogical experience of the Metrolab MasterClass In/out: Designing Urban Inclusion (held in Brussels in January-February 2017) and the workshops "Cureghem en perspective".
