Cities nowadays are spaces crossed by different dynamics of fragmentation and characterised by increasing social inequalities. Although urban inclusion is at the heart of the EU’s urban policies and various urban projects, the term remains rather unclear. What form does inclusion take in the urban project? This question was at the core of the MasterClass entitled Designing Urban Inclusion held in Brussels in 2017, which anchored reflections on this topic in the specific context of Brussels.
